My name is Santiago Velez Official translator of Oliver Velez for Latin America. In this podcast, I decided to start a journey to chat with those trading who are in the process, those who have made it and those who have something to teach us. This is “conversando con traders”. Ok. How are you traders. Today I am with Cristian Espinoza. Cristian is one of the most recent graduates from… from what program Cristian? What program are you in? Cristian: How are you Santiago? I’m in the self start trading program of Oliver Velez. Santiago: ok, so Cristian is in the Self Start program and he is one of the most recent graduates. Cristian is 28 years old and he is speaking to us from Bolivia. Since 2016 he has been trading. He studied financial engineering with an emphasis on computer science. He worked in the pensions center for a while but retired to dedicate himself completely to trading. Cristian, its a pleasure to have you here, i’m really happy to chat with you and what a good moment for you to tell us your story. Tell us how your development has been, how have you felt at IFT. I know you just started this journey but tell us more about your process. How has your experience been? Cristian: Ok Santiago, First of all Thank you for inviting me to your podcast. The process that i have been through like a lot of you know since 2016, more than 3 years i have been trading. At first and still today it hasn’t been easy for me. Three years and i’m still battling but i’ve fallen multiple times but i’ve always learned to get back up. Last year, around the end of 2018 was when i met Oliver Velez. I went to one of his talks here in La Paz, Bolivia. This was in September 2018 and that was when i was really interested in his programs and how he worked in general. That is how I decided to start one of his programs and in the program at first i was doing bad. I tried to apply all the “knowledge i had” and try to merge it with what he was teaching me in his program. The first month my results were normal to bad. With all the knowledge i had but i tried to accommodate myself and like you know i had a consistency somewhat calm. Real good so i could graduate from his course and here i am. About to start with my real account financed by Oliver. Santiago: Oliver always tells us that you are born as a trader the first day you get your real account, any practice on a simulator will always be a preparation to go out and play the real game. I wish you success in this Journey. Cristian, may I ask what it is that differentiates you from the rest of the people, what do you consider are the key values and attitudes that you have developed to graduate from Olivers Program? I think that first of all i have to recognize that experience is everything. You have to make sure that your mind is fixed to the plan you have and going step by step according to your plan you and reach that consistency you are looking for. When time passes, the years and the experience you learn to listen to the market. There are moments when your plan doesn’t tell you something but the market tells you that something is going to happen. Intuition, that 6th sense so you trust yourself and you get into a trade and it comes out positive. Oliver probably does this alot with his 32 years of experience . I think you have to deviate a bit from your plan to feel that sixth sense in the market. You can see this in his amazing trades.>>I think that first of all you have to follow that plan that each one has and trust in the experience you have. after that i am very curious. I try to find , read and i think that this helped me as well to see how things worked. How to use fusion and to see the commands and all the tools this platform has. This helped me out alot to execute my trades in all this process that i’ve had.
