Hi, I’m Kayla Fikany with Z Real Estate. Welcome to the October 2019 Las Cruces Real Estate Report. As always, our goal is to provide you with a quick overview of the Las Cruces market. So a couple of things have changed with the market for sure and we’re going to get to that. But also, a couple things have changed in our family as well. Obviously, I’m not pregnant anymore. Our daughter was born on October 8th so October is always a special month for us and it’s definitely a special month for the market as well. Our son’s birthday is in October, too. That’s why we think it’s so special. Anyways, so for October there were two hundred and twenty five homes sold, which is the most in the month of October in 14 years. Seventeen of those homes sold were over four hundred thousand, which we define as our luxury homes. So for luxury homes, that makes a grand total of ninety six for the year. The average sales price for October is just over two hundred and twenty two thousand. That’s the highest since January of 2017 when we started filming these market reports. The most expensive home sold for eight hundred and fifty thousand on Fiesta Drive in Pajaro, which is that area kind of in Mesilla. So that’s it for October. Hopefully it shows you that October really was an interesting month compared to other years as well as other months that have been this year. Remember, real estate is local neighborhood by neighborhood and price range, a price range. If you’re considering selling, let us analyze your homes specifically.
