Video 6 ADSS Web Trader Add TP and SL


Welcome to ADSS OREX Web Trader, the browser-based edition of the exceptional OREX platform. In a previous video, we learned how to open and close various types of orders. Also, with these orders, or positions, it is imperative that we use a STOP LOSS Also with these orders, or positions, it is imperative that we use a STOP LOSS to limit your loss and TAKE PROFIT to take advantage of price action and to close the trades when your planned profit target is reached. Let’s start by placing a market order on a currency pair, and see that we have the option of ADD STOP LOSS by clicking here. A line appears and we may drag it to our desired position. If price goes in the opposite direction that we expect, and reaches our STOP LOSS, the position will be closed for a loss, protecting your capital from further losses. Now, click ADD TAKE PROFIT and move the line to the point at which you feel price action will reach. At this point, your position will be closed automatically and the equity value of your account will increase by the amount shown here. To view the details in your POSITION window, click this arrow and your TP and SL will be displayed. To add STOP LOSS and TAKE PROFIT to an existing position simply click here on the TP column of that position, type in the desired value, and you will see the line appear on the chart. The same may be done in the SL column to select the STOP LOSS. The same may be done in the SL column to select the STOP LOSS. To modify the value, simply click on the value and change the figure and you will see the line on the chart move to its new position. To remove a STOP LOSS or TAKE PROFIT, click on the figure and, while the field is blank, select the blue tick (creating a zero entry) and the item will disappear. The same process applies to WORKING ORDERS. In the INSTRUMENTS panel, select your pair, and the type of order you desire, and type your figures in the STOP LOSS and the TAKE PROFIT fields. You may adjust the figures with the “+” and “-“ buttons here. Again, you may modify or delete these new figures under the POSITIONS or WORKING ORDERS tabs respectively. That’s all for now.
